Afternoon Set1の「Gloria's Step(take1)」は停電のため途中で中断。
1984年時点で全22バージョンのうち「Gloria's Step(take1)」「All Of You(take1)」のみ未発表となりましたが、ライナーノーツでOrrinn Keepnewsは「All Of You(take1)は不出来という訳ではなく単純に収録時間の関係でオミット」と言っています。
ＣＤボックス『Complete Village Vanguard Recordings 1961』では演奏順にＣＤ3枚に全曲収録されていますが、「やっぱりアナログで聴きたい！」というときは、
『Waltz For Debby』『Sunday At The Village Vanguard』『Memories Of Bill Evans』『More From The Vanguard』の4枚のアルバムが揃えば6月25日の全22曲のうち20曲を聴くことができます。
今回の『More From The Vanguard』は、耳タコのアルバムとは別の順序で別バージョンを聴かされるので最初は多少の戸惑いを感じますが、
神ってる演奏はやっぱり凄い！
